The Intelligence Bureau’s recruitment for Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade–II/Executive (ACIO-II/Exe) positions involves a comprehensive selection process comprising the following stages:
I. Written Examination: Tier-I and Tier-II

Written Examination
Candidates who have submitted online applications for the Intelligence Bureau ACIO Exam are required to participate in the Written Examination, which is divided into Tier-I and Tier-II stages. The Tier-I Written Examination is an objective-type paper with 100 questions, carrying a total of 100 marks. The structure of the Tier-I paper is outlined below:

On the basis of their performance & normalization of marks in Tier-I exam, candidates would be shortlisted for Tier-II @ 10 times the number of vacancies, subject to the condition that the candidate should have scored minimum cut-off.
On the basis of their combined performance in Tier-I and Tier-II, the candidates would be shortlisted for Tier-III/Interview @ 5 times the number of vacancies subject to the condition that the candidate secures minimum 33% marks (17 out of 50) in Tier-II exam.
