Applications in Standard Form of Application as published in the Assam Gazette Part-IX are invited from interested candidates who are bonfide citizen of India vide Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for filling up of following vacant posts under the establishment of the Inspectorate of Electricity, Assam.

1. Junior Assistant, Gr-III for office of the Senior Electrical inspector, Tezpur Zone, Tezpur.
Total post: 02 nos. [UR-1,STP-1]
Pay Scale: Rs.14000-60500 +GP Rs.6,200/- PM.
2. Junior Assistant, Gr-III for office of the Senior Electrical inspector, Silchar Zone, Silchar.
Total post: 01 nos. [SC-1]
Pay Scale: Rs.14000-60500 +GP Rs.6,200/- PM.
3. Junior Assistant, Gr-III for office of the Senior Electrical inspector, Jorhat Zone, Jorhat.
Total post: 01 nos. [UR-1]
Pay Scale: Rs.14000-60500 +GP Rs.6,200/- PM.
Educational qualification for Inspectorate of Electricity,Assam Recruitment 2021:
i) A candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or any examination declared equivalent by the Government.
ii) Must possess Diploma in computer skills for handling data and text on computer typing both English and Assamese.
Age limit for Inspectorate of Electricity,Assam Recruitment 2021:
Candidates must not be of less than 18 years and more than. 40 years as on 1st January 2021. However the upper age limit is relaxable in case of SC,ST & Other candidates as per Govt. OM No. ABP 06/2016/04,Dtd.3rd March’2016.

i) The envelope containing the application should be clearly supersribed as “Application for the post of Junior Assistant” with “category ST(P)/SC/UR”, whichever is applicable.
ii) the application are to be submitted with the following requisites attached thereto:
a) One self addressed envelope of size 5cm×11cm affixing unused postal stamp of Rs.5/-
b) Self-attested copies of all certificates & Marks sheets in support of Educational & other Qualification, Diploma in Computer,Age, Caste etc.
c) 2 (two) copies of recent passport size photographs signed and dated by the candidate on reverse side of those.
d) Sef-attesed copy of valid Registration Certificate of Employment Exchange.
