Applications are invited for the position of 1 No. Senior Project Associate (SpA), 2 Nos. project Associate-l (PA-l)and 6 Nos. Field Worker (FW)positions (Temporary)for 2 years in the DST-NMHSE funded project titled “Climate Change and Sustainability of Agricultural practices and Livelihoods in the Eastern Himalaya: Case Studies in Northeastern Region of lndia” under the guidance of Dr. Ratul Mahanta, Principal lnvestigator and Professor, Department of Economics, Gauhati University.
Gauhati University Recruitment 2021- Details:
1. Senior Project Associate (SPA).
Total no. of post: 01 no.
Pay Scale: Rs.42,OO0/- p.m. + HRA 16%
2. Project Associate-l (PA-l).
Total no. of post: 02 nos
Pay Scale: Rs. 31,000/- p.m. + HRA 16%
3. Field Worker (FW)
Total no. of post: 06 nos
Pay Scale: Rs. 18,000/- p.m. + HRA 16%
Educational qualification for Gauhati University Recruitment 2021:
(1) SPA: Ph.D in Environmental Science/Economics or Masters in Environmental Sciences/Environment Management/Economics with 4 years research Experience (NET/GATE qualified). Candidates having Knowledge in remote sensing is preferable.
(2) PA-l: M.A./M.Sc. in Economics/Geography/Veterinary sciences/Agriculture sciences with GATE/NET.
(3) FW: Graduate degree in any discipline.
