APSC recruitment 2020:
Assam Public Service Commission invites application from Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for the under-mentioned posts under Assam Government in the scale of pay as indicated below and carrying usual allowances as admissible under Rules of the Govt. of Assam.
Post details of APSC recruitment 2020:
1.Name of the post: Assistant Engineer (Electrical),
Total No. of post: 19 nos. Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- + GP Rs. 12,700/-
Educational Qualification of APSC recruitment 2020:
i) Bachelors degree in Electrical/ B.Tech. (Electrical) Engineering from an Indian or Foreign University recognized by the Government.
OR
Passed Parts A and B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) and possessing a certificate to that effect from the Institution of Engineers (India). ii) Apart from English, the candidate should have adequate knowledge of at least 1(one) official language of the State of Assam (i.e. Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo), except candidates belonging to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.
Age limit for APSC recruitment 2020:
The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2020. The upper age limit is relaxable:
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April 2018.
(iii) For Persons with Disability (PWD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidate as per Govt. Notification No. ABP 144/95/121 dated Dispur the 28th October, 2015.
The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation /HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council and no other document shall be accepted in lieu of the mentioned documents.
2. Name of the post: Language Officer (Assamese).
Total posts: 03 nos.
Pay Scale: Rs. 22,000/- to 97,000/- +GP Rs. 11,800
Educational qualification: The candidate must have Law Degree with Assamese as one the subject in the degree course.

Educational qualification:
a) A candidate must have passed at least Second class M.A in Modern Indian History and having one years diploma in Archival Science from national Archives of India,New Delhi
b) Preference will be given to those having M.Phil or Ph.D in history.

The candidates should not be less than 45 years of age and not more than 55 years of age as on 01/01/2020. The upper age limit is relaxable:
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April 2018.
