State Child Protection Society , Assam has released a notification for the recruitment of 207 Chairperson & members of Child Welfare Committees (CWC) and social Workers of Juvenile Justice Boards (JJB) of Assam under JJ Act 2015.

Child Welfare Committee (CWC):
1. Name of the post: Chairperson.
Total no. of Post: 29 nos.
2. Name of the post: Member
Total no. of Post: 118 nos.
Juvenile Justice Boards (JJB) :
3. Name of the post: Member
Total no. of Post: 60 nos.
Pay Scale: The Social Workers / Members (JJB / CWC) shall be paid Rs.1,500/- (Rupees Fifteen Hundred) only per sitting (minimum 6 hours) as travel, sitting & conveyance allowance as per ICPS guideline.
Eligibility criteria of State Child Protection Society , Assam Recruitment 2021:
Age limit: 35 to 65 years of age on 01/04/2021
Educational qualification: Preferably Post Graduate in Social work, Education, Psychology, Psychiatry, Human Development, Law or retired Judicial officer. A retired college teacher, doctor or a social worker who had been involved in work concerning Children will be preferred.
Experience: At least 7 (seven) years experience of working with Children in the field of Education, Health, Child Welfare activities or development activities or Child Protection activities.
